Do these people not understand what illegal immigrant meant? It means not a US citizen, not documented here, no VISA.

Everyone who complains that their undocumented immigrants have been abducted should be arrested and charged with hiring undocumented immigrants.

Can we point out the obvious? Farmers rely on exploiting desperate migrant workers in violation of labor laws. Milk should cost more than it does, because it is perishable and labor intensive to produce.

It is not a good thing that ICE is sending people to death camps, nor is it ok that we are abandoning the rule of law to do it. But those are the victims. The farmers who have lower profits because they can no longer access illegally cheap labor are the real criminals.

They’ve been deporting those who are there legally too.

With an insufficient workforce, pay rates going up isn’t necessarily enough to get you workers. Moving regions to get a new job isn’t usually cheap or fast.

I don’t know if the previous pay rates were illegally low (the US’s definition of illegally low is itself low), but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they couldn’t & wouldn’t pay ~$20-30/h if there were workers available.

Going from a labour-cheap world to a labour-expensive world also implies that people want to increase mechanisation and automation, and that’s not cheap or fast either.

Get fucked I never once in my life met any poor farmer like you are speaking of, those days are long gone. Maybe one day I will shed a tear for a business that isn’t viable because they depend on exploiting labor to extreme measures and not paying a living wage. We are all victims of the capital class, you’re just one step away from being a millionaire though right?

And yet the article closes with a farmer saying he’d vote for Trump again, despite the destruction of his labor force and the damage to his livelihood. The cultists are sick.

That’s why I feel zero empathy with them. After all these years I think I figured it out.

      It’s a kink. A masochistic one.

The general conservative wants to get fucked, hard. Like break my choker through my ass kind of hard. That’s why they voted Trump twice into office. They acted as if they cared about political correctness or Mexicans or Trans people or whatever show they put up to be angry about nowadays. Everything a lie. It’s only about being daddy’s little slut. And like the common Twitter Weeb, they want to make their fuck fantasy everyone else’s problem too.

Don’t believe me? Then explain this article. I wait.

Your guilty conscience may force you to vote Democratic, but deep down inside, you secretly long for a cold-hearted Republican to lower taxes, brutalize criminals and rule you like a king!

I’m not even sure why you’re mad at the above poster. It doesn’t look like they had a chance to disagree with your point even. If anything it looks like they are on the same page as you. Who is it exactly you’re challenging and why?

So are you are using ‘?’ Here Because you’re not asking a question? Is this how you express emotions instead of asking questions?

I can’t see your face or hand gestures or tone so emotion doesn’t convey very well in text form on it’s own. the end part looked like you were demanding an answer from someone. At first I wasn’t sure who that was directed at given everyone is on the same page here. I was expecting you were using punctuation the same as it was intended for communicating. Now I can’t understand if you’re angry, asking questions, or making demands. Or if you’re some sort of shitty AI bot glitching.

And I guess using the present words and punctuation to express impassioned responses was just not enough? It’s pretty rude to be shit at communication and then blame the audience for not understanding. It’s gaslighting.

“It’s scaring the farming community,” Machia admitted. “We didn’t think they’d come for the people who help us milk cows.”
Even though Machia says he would still vote for Trump, the recent crackdown has prompted a deeper reckoning within his community — and perhaps, unexpectedly, a new sense of appreciation for those they once took for granted.

Since the same farmers had issues with Trump screwing them over by targeting immigrants during his first term, we know that they would absolutely vote for him again because they love getting their face eaten.

Why do we never see anything happen to the farmers who knowingly and illegally hire undocumented immigrants? Nothing ever happens to those who get rich from illegal labor practices (whether its wage theft or knowingly hiring those without the right to work)

They get a big hefty fine. The fine is then reduced down to nothing after they claim they had no idea they were not legal to work in the country.

Next they reduce the amount of money they pay the other employees who they have no idea are not legal to work because of the fine they did not pay.

Since when has capitalism held capital holders accountable?

Its one of the inherent flaws of the system described nearly 200 years ago.
