Yeah that’s called escalating. If the Nazi’s policy is to kill on sight, the solution is to kill the Nazi before it sees you.

That dude is basically ordering Florida civilians to engage cops in guerilla warfare.

    Nice police-work, dipshit. 👍

The whole thing hangs off the rule of law. There aren’t enough cops to control the population, it only works because the population controls itself because they accept the rule of law. If the cops go rogue or the politicians, eventually the belief in the rule falters then chaos.

You’re talking rule of law vs rule by law.

I don’t get what they think the endgame is going to be here. Because it’s not going to work out well for them either.

I mean, saying this is only going to escalate the situation and increase the tension.

What if the protestors say back in return: “If you point a gun at one of us protestors, your coworkers will be notifying your family where to collect your remains”?

The dude is just asking for a fight.

All I see is a tiny, insecure so-called man talking tough and playing with guns to convince the world he’s not a scared child inside.

There it is. Law enforcement has openly declared to kill protesters. You now know that you must fight them like your life depends on it, because they have admitted their intent.

This is exactly the behavior your 2nd amendment rights are meant to protect you from. They are ready & excited to kill you. What are you willing to do to stop them?

No shade, but this is a simplistic understanding of the dynamics at play.

Protests go like this : slow & joyful start, march, sing, march some more, have a good time, then at some point a smoke grenade triggers somewhere behind you. Did anyone see where it came from? If someone did, their eyewitness account is immediately drowned in the crowd trying the flee from the fumes. Some light panic ensues : not everybody knows what the movement is about, what the danger is, and that’s very scary. The handful of people who saw the cop roll the grenade shout, or possibly send it back towards the cop line. This small commotion is used as casus belli, because that’s all they’re waiting for : an excuse to beat people to death.

This is from experience of protests in France (mostly Marseille)

I’m not sure what the intended effect of this statement is… But what I can tell you, is that bringing firearms to Florida protest seems to be mandatory. The police should be shot on sight during an escalation. Because if you don’t, they are gonna use any excuse to do the same to us. The rule of law only works if we can all agree to not murder each other.

…also dunno. Like, are they telling people to commit? That’s what it sounds like. If you dare try to fight for your country, we will try to murdrr you - so you need to be ready to actually fight because there’s nowgere to run.

Open carry rifles is probably the best way to keep the cops from escalating. If any group is planning on having open carry members, make sure they aren’t plants and make sure they know proper trigger discipline. Make sure that no media sees them taking aim first or idly fingering the trigger. Do not have them in the middle of the group. Make sure that they are prepped to answer any questions clearly and directly to any press.

Using police dogs to attack people is animal abuse, not to mention abuse of a person who hasn’t been convicted of anything. By teaching a dog to attack humans is some ancient, barbaric bullshit. It’s an abuse on the dog to turn them into weapons
