Every day is Halloween, but this month is Halloween officially. So with that said, and a whole month to go. What better time to assemble a community playlist again.

  • Songs should fit relevant genera as best as possible
  • Ideally they should relate to Halloween or related themes
  • Keep posts short and concise.3-4 suggestions per post along with why you think each one fits

Ministry - Every Day is Halloween
Because of course. How could we not start with this new version of the classic released just this year.

Creature Feature -Buried Alive!
Between the band name and the track name. How could it not fit. For those not familiar with Creature Feature, yeah basically I could just post their albums and largely call the playlist done. With tracks like Dem Bones, Aim For the Head, Here There Be Witches, or The Greatest Show Unearthed.

Zombina and the Skeletones - Nobody Likes You When You’re Dead
Zombies, skeletons, undeead. Need I say more? This small goth pop punk outfit from the UK could easily fill a playlist themselves. Punk Rock Vampires Destroy, Dracula Blood, Don’t Go Into The Light, Brain Dead, or Zombie Hop could all qualify and may get suggested later.

I could go on for a few hours. But I’m going to end here for now, to see what others add. :)

Some good picks. Damn hadn’t thought about zombie girl in some time. Was kind of hoping when she got things back together for that release in 2015 we might get another album or two. But it’s been another 10 years =/

I have a Samhain playlist so I picked a few of those. Zombie Girl blew my mind when she released her album around 2006.

Samhain is 100% applicable. Absolutely a core influence for the festival, that became Halloween. And literally the day after. Know what? Give me a moment. I think I’m gonna make an edit.

It may or may not be as well known due to how commercial and widely saturated Halloween has been. With the proliferation of Hollywood media. But recognition and celebration for it would be fun/awesome. Like how everyone hasn’t had the pleasure of a mari lywd at their door. Definitely something worth changing.
