Why are conservatives so obsessed with hating Palestinians?
That’s pretty much it, I recon.
It’s not Palestinians, they hate the other.
Palestinians are the other, but so are Jews, just not Israelis.
They hate all the others, but support the others who share their hatred of the other (even if they don’t like them).
It’s tribalism. It’s a human quality, an animal quality. We all have it. Intelligence is the thing we’re all supposed to have that lets us be more than our raw animal instinct.
To other is to be human, to hate the other is to not be strong enough to be human.
