Just discovered this Lemmy community! What are you all doing with your early retirement, are you still working, working contracts, etc?

I’m getting close to FIRE goals, but have changed my mind about leaving my field. I was pretty burned out for like 4 years and have finally been enjoying myself. It’s been great being near FIRE because I’ve been able to not worry so much about layoffs and my field being a crap employment market at the moment.
