This image isn’t high enough resolution to read the speed dial labels on the phone when zoomed in… and yet, a couple lines are redacted out.
Suggests to me that there’s a higher resolution version that got redacted, and they’re uploading lower resolution versions of all images so that some finer details get redacted by proxy.
It also now occurs to me, that the original images may have incriminating meta data attached, such as the date it was taken, and possibly even gps info if it was taken with a phone and the person taking it hadn’t turned that feature off. By embedding the images in pdfs, they’re withholding all of that info.
Even the original filenames would reveal missing images from the sequence since they would be numbered in order.
There were several photos of bookshelves and in most cases the resolution was too low to read most of the names on the spines, although some, like A New Kind of Science by Stephen Wolfram, a blockbuster of an introduction to cellular automata, were unmistakable.
