This is for sure from the era where Google would send you a survey based on your location data without clearly disclosing you’re actually publishing a review.
The same era where Amazon would send questions about a product to other people who bought it, and they’d respond like “I don’t know that, it was a gift for my granddaughter” and it gets published on the site as an ‘answer’
Those reviews are the best. “I did not buy this product and I object” “My wife has complained” It’s neverending
The frustrating thing is trying to get reviews like this removed. Google is an absentee landlord
Just wait a couole years and google will abandon the reviews system like everything else and they’ll all be gone
