Not a ragebait post.

I started thinking why I hate AI and it’s mostly:

  • It is pushed down my throat very hard for what it does;
  • The unauthorized use of content on the internet;
  • The worsening of the environmental crisis;
  • The content it generates is shit.

I am wondering do you have other arguments against it?

    It’s a machine made to steal your skills from you. Let the robot do your work and don’t worry about becoming competent yourself ! Prompting totally counts as a skill in itself !

    I am also currently seeing several of my family members descend into the pit where they ask every question they have to chatGPT and immediately trust the answer… Haven’t been able to convince them that thing sometimes is utterly wrong and sometimes even lies !

    It’s devouring resources and CS graduates that would be much better utilised pursuing something actually good and useful for the world.
