There were plenty of red anarchists participating in the Russian revolution and especially the Paris commune (not sure about the revolutions in Asia). I think the Cuban revolution was even originally social democratic.

I would say I see the most anti-anarchist rhetoric coming from .ML, but specific users at that. Now campism is bad, but considering the situation in my immediate area (the US) I am down for extreme unity of all left types (libs aren’t the left). Go through my comment history and you really won’t find a lot of that. When I critique statists, I say “statists”. When I critique Marxist-Leninists, I say “Marxist-Leninists”. When I critique group X, I say “group X”. I really don’t use the word “tankie” because liberals have successfully recouped it. I have anticipated this exact moment, e.g. what is currently going on with threats to defederate from my instance, where liberals turn on anarchists for acting like actual socialists, inclusive of describing us as “tankies”.
