    it appears they all know WWIII is inevitable and are racing to get AGI beforehand to come out on the winning side

      oh, bud, they don’t have sides. They side with wealth; if anything, they’ll sell AI services to all those who can pay. That’s how the weapons business works.

      I don’t think it’s WWIII, they’re transhumanists. Several of them are quite open about it. They believe they will be able to integrate into the machines and then a livable planet won’t matter to them anymore.

      Peter Thiel especially has been quite vocal about wanting this outcome and wanting to selectively enhance “the best” of humanity. All of these tech bros are sniffing the same glue and believe they are ushering in our ascension beyond physical needs.
