Ed Sheeran purposely made this decision with the hopes it would lead to everyone else backing out and if he had stood his ground it’s possible that the tour, or at least that venue appearance, would have been canceled with little to no fanfare.
I know it’s stupid and that’s why I put the tinfoil hat on.
