Russia looks weak right now because the invasion has been such and embarrassment, but that can change surprisingly quickly. The global shift towards authoritarianism is coming hand-in-hand with a shift away from US/Eurocentric hegemony.

This is why I’m vaguely rooting for the Commanders. They were obviously a cursed franchise for decades. Then they got rid of their despicable-person owner, changed their racist-ass name, and now they’re a content almost immediately. Great redemption arc.

I didn’t think it was terrible. Set pieces were beautiful, acting was good, cinematography/framing was excellent. Pacing was a bit off, and there were some major plot points that kinda took me out of the immersion.
