That’s true, but it’s worse here in my opinion due to the general lack of interactions and traffic here, if someone doesn’t like my post I at least want to know why. Here it seems a person can get a - rating below zero and no one is even telling the OP why. It’s weird. I also think the Discord is fairly better as well.

Not really. This is a helpful topic the OP made that teaches users something new. I said what I said. If it is bait, then it obviously worked because you responded.
It is weird that every topic posted on the Perchance Lemmy is being consistently downvoted including this one with useful information in it. I don’t even understand what he was trying to say. Perchance is a website that’s all about AI use, so, why wouldn’t we make use of AI to make better generators?
Perchance is basically an AI oriented website as it is. Prompt engineering is becoming more in demand than coding in the tech industry, people are prompting AI to create whole websites. After prompting Gemini I created 2 generators already that work flawlessly. So, to answer the question what is a user without AI, just a user who doesn’t use AI. A user can use it or not use it. It is not that deep in mine opinion. If we’re on Perchance we’re probably using AI and if they are creating generators, that’s better than complaining about generators that don’t function well or fooling around in the chat rooms unproductively. The more good generators on this website the better it is for all of us collectively.
No average American calls anyone a mate unless it’s a woman or man that they want to mate with, that mate stuff is a British thing. There are four mods on this Lemmy forum it gets nowhere near as much traffic as the subreddit and they still are not interacting with you. They probably saw the same thing I saw.

There is no reason for them to address you when you say that a website that has report functions and bans has no moderation. Because it proved that you were disingenuously lying from the start.

Yes, parents should take responsibility for their children’s internet activity, I don’t understand when that changed. It has always been that way since the inception of the internet, chat rooms, internet porn, forums and all that stuff. British law does not apply to everyone. There is basic oversight, reports, bans, and moderation all exist. The website is full of chat rooms and cannot be 100% moderated, just like 4chan or VRchat cannot be 100% moderated and full proof. It is the reality of the World Wide Web. Users have to some extent protect themselves because anonymous chats are not digitally 100% moderated spaces in general . Moving to a more moderated chatroom is good as well.
He has posted this like at least two times already or perhaps more, the Dev rightfully is ignoring him, I would too. He claimed in one post that the website has no moderation at all and when I mentioned that people get IP banned and reported he tried to come up with excuses as to how that did not count as moderation.

Which is a good option but the OP doesn’t care about using an alternative, his whole focus is banning Perchance altogether. The Dev continues to ignore him. He is spam posting his message whilst all legitimate topics are being down voted mysteriously.

Because, it’s not your website. The level of entitlement that you show by demanding someone tailor the website that they own to your preferences is ridiculous, the Dev can see your posts and chooses not to respond to you. IPs get banned here and there is a moderation system built on the website. This website is as liable as any other website with an anonymous chatroom or anonymous imageboard, 4chan is a good example.

Which makes no sense because people are reported and IP banned. Both are impossible if there is no moderation. Furthermore since all interactions are anonymous extensive account wide bans are impossible, only IP bans are possible. You want an account based website and this is not that.

Why are anonymous chatrooms littered throughout the internet in general? Why have they not been banned online in this long history of the internet? Anonymity on privately owned websites has a long history. The best protection against bad actors in a chatroom is simply to avoid chatrooms. There is also a flag button too, are any of you using it?
It does NSFW for me, yet I think that whatever change happened needs adjustments to sound more natural. The Dev has released no statement about the recent text changes being due to a new model. People keep saying that without proof.
Yeah, I agree that the whole idea that some users have about keeping Perchance secret is pure nonsense, because without a steady flow of users the websites and ad money will dry up. That said Perchance seems to be increasing in popularity rather than losing it, so whatever dumb plan some of them have is not working.
I think the reason most of the users have not migrated here is due to accessibility, a lot of people already have their reddit accounts set up and ready, just casually moving through subreddits.
