I guess what I don’t understand is how that bears at all to the court’s ruling - that to claim reliance on false statements requires specific statements which the court says weren’t made. Also the plaintiffs didn’t have standing. What does the obligation to follow their own rules have to do with anything?

It appears the lawsuit failed due to not meeting the legal tests for the causes of action alleged, and lack of standing:
The DNC donor class and the Sanders donor class alleged fraud, negligent misrepresentation, violations of consumer law that bars deceptive trade practices. The claims were based on the theory that the plaintiffs were harmed financially by alleged false statements of impartiality.

I also dearly love a keyboard phone. The last one I bought was a Uniherz Titan Pocket during covid. It was good, but the sucky part is they don’t really support their phones well. Also, they’re a GPL violator so the community can’t develop a fully libre rom.
If true, that does not address the point that the necessary facts aren’t known, and therefore one can’t conclusively know whether the source of the virus is natural transmission or a lab leak.
I think there’s just not enough information to say with confidence one way or the other. Biden commissioned a report that was inconclusive, in part because of non-cooperation from the Chinese government. From Wikipedia:
