the moon is bouba and the sun is kiki. this establishment doesn’t care what’s in your pants but will ABSOLUTELY NOT tolerate kiki vibes in the bouba bathroom

In a situation like this I defer to sound tactical advice: Hesitation and delay kill more troops than bad planning, treachery and bad luck.

Hesitation and delay kill more troops than bad planning, treachery and bad luck.

I feel like there have been enough devastating losses from bad weather, preventable disease, and poor supply chains to make this definitively not true. Getting defeated by Typhoons and invading Russia in the winter are notable examples. I feel like this only applies once you’ve already committed to a plan.

my siblings and I ended up getting some space motifs from my mom. My sister is her sun, my brother is her moon and I’m her stars. As a woman than makes me a sun child

Back in college I was wasted and went to a bathroom like this. I figured the moon was the dude’s toilet because reasons.

    I was wrong.

The only de-gendered bathroom signs I think works are “Toilets” and “Toilets and Urinals”.

If we’re removing the aspect of gender then that’s the only real difference between bathrooms.

I was actually thinking about this the other day and concluded that the best way to label bathrooms is just a complete facility inventory to tell people what’s in the. Just put stylised pictures of two toilets, a urinal, two sinks, and a changing table on the door or whatever.

As a parent, labeling where they’ve bothered to put changing tables would save so much trouble! I’ve had to barge into the women’s room to change a diaper way too many times because who could imagine a dad changing a diaper?

Saw one at the kid’s museum the other day where the changing table in the men’s room had a little plaque noting it was sponsored by a local vasectomy clinic. Well played.

A Pokémon fan would say: “Oh! It depends on what version of Sun and Moon you bought! Wait, but I bought both versions… Which one should I pick?”

As a woman that has dipped into the men’s restroom because the women’s line was too long, this is 100% bullshit.

Not 100%. My experience is usually women’s rooms are cleaner. But I realise that others have different experiences, hence why I removed my always and am now disputing your “100%” statement

I have no love for men or the patriarchy, but fuck your original sexist statement about men leaving their bathrooms dirty. Men and Women are equally capable of being filthy or clean.

I’ve lived with male room mates that didn’t leave our bathroom in shambles. I’ve lived with male room mates that were absolute pigs. I’ve lived with women that would leave the bathroom a mess, and I’ve lived with women that cleaned up after themselves in the shared bathroom.

In my entire life, I’ve been in 6 public men’s restrooms because I was gonna piss myself if I didn’t go then. 5 out of 6 were pretty clean; and that’s not a large enough sample size to make any kind of statement about.

Changing “always” to “sometimes or usually” doesn’t address the sexism of the original comment.

Secondhand information is less reliable than firsthand experience

Edit: I edited my original comment because our different experiences and information does mean that my statement was way wrong
