That’s always my argument. How can you categorize something without defining it?
I always said sports are anything with points that anyone can watch and say ‘yes this person/team won because they scored more or had a faster time’ (like darts, chess, golf, speed walking)
I define things that the scoring can be open to interpretation by the judge at the time to be an art and not a sport (like ice skating, cheerleader, break dancing)
This definition gets a little messy in things like boxing where a judge can say one boxer was better that round and another judge interprets the other boxer was better. If one boxer gets knocked out then the winner is obvious and it’s more like a sport.
You have a fair definition of sports, although my own personal definition is a little different. And that’s my point: people define things like this differently, that’s all I’m saying really.

I don’t really care though, I mainly watch AEW.
