The Democratic minority leader was asked about opposition to his leadership from new members and said the “issue is not me. I’ll be re-elected as majority leader. The issue is focusing on the American people and what they want.”
Sure you are Chuck. Now drink your Ensure.
Looks like nothing will fundamentally change. Start your prepartions now because at this rate in two years it’s gonna get so much worse, and no one’s coming to help us.
Complacency kills, Chuck… we’ll see how long you last.
This guy is addicted to his power the same way billionaires are addicted to always getting more money.
Just going to ignore the electorate huh?
Aww how cute they think that voters are thinking of them when voting for democrats. Do they also pretend like it was them who brought the victory?

Who are the alternatives? Bernie? Fuck yeah but I’m not sure he wants the job.
Schumer and Jeffries need to sit the fuck down. We didn’t vote in a massive blue wave just for you two shitheads to ruin it.
Please, everyone, write your reps every day demanding change in leadership from schumer and jeffries
If we have Republican reps, can they still have a say on who are the chamber leaders.
Bugger off chuck
Is there a senator who has stated they want to take the leadership away from Schumer? And likewise a congress person to take over from Jeffries in the house?

To my knowledge, not yet. But I never expected a word to be said on this notion until post-election celebrations settle. The time before midterms was to fall in line, but now over the course of these next months I expect there to be a focus inward as to the future direction of the party.
The issue is focusing on the American people and what they want."
what if what they want is you not being the house majority leader?
