Well if you are using it for work at least its just a business expense so its easier to justify the cost of something large. For recreational use it would be stupid.
I never got this idea. If you have a business then having waste in that business is going to hurt just as much if it was your personal truck. Most places don’t need a truck and those that do tend to get vans instead (think plumbers). And at least here the biggest ones are just for recreation since they have to pull their 1500sq foot 5th wheel.
Yes, but (at least here) there a not that many flatbed uses for the silly small bed large trucks that are all over. Lots of 1 ton and over flatbed trucks doing work, a few welders like those trucks for work. The massive trucks with tiny beds are not really meant to be work anything, they are just large passenger vehicles.
