More seriously, doesn’t this make it obvious that the structure of authoritarianism is really just a small collection of powerful people? They’re not an unstoppable force. They’re weaker than they look.
I looked bulldog immunity up on ddg and urban dictionary and found nothing. Maybe deters’ bulldogs will no longer consider those people unthreatening?
But there’s a huge difference in how intimidating bulldogs are and my default mental “bulldog” is a French bulldog or [inaccurately, but I definitely still picture it] Boston terrier, so I’d be more worried about them if I had a piece of cheese on me.

But this year saw a massive drop in VIP ticket sales and general interest, possibly due to Trump’s horrendous approval rating, rising costs tied to the Iran war, or an oversaturation of MAGA events (like that barely watched Republican midterm convention). Either way, Deters is pissed, lashing out at people whom he apparently expected to attend.
That is encouraging! The tide may be changing.
