hell is easy. in hell you know you’re still “alive” because of the suffering.

as an atheist I hope his final moments were filled with the same regret and despair he gave to hundreds of thousands, and then as the dark shroud of nothingness enveloped his consciousness I hope he realized that none of it was worth it. I hope he begged and pleaded to take it all back until he faded out of existence for eternity.

as long as the hippocampus remains, memory and self awareness can continue to exist.

it’s one of the last parts of your brain that shuts down when you die.

those bits are still going under anesthetic and while asleep and yet I don’t actively experience time and thought and have no memory of anything during that period.

I think death is just death. Even if you’re dying slowly you probably don’t know it’s happening when it does, just like I don’t remember the 10 seconds before I fall asleep

Remembering and knowing it happens is different. By definition you won’t remember dying because you’re dead. But experiencing/knowing it happens in the moment is a different question.

Why would you be called a tankie? It’s a term used by basically all kinds of communists and socialists, from anarchists to eurocommunists (not tankies) to Maoists (tankies).

nowadays people be calling ALL communists tankies. Eeven the fake as fuck ones like Ziorhan mamdani and bernie “Its Not Genocide” sanders and AOCIA loool

I swear liberals and conservatives will never be able to make the distinction between Thomas Sankara and ilhan omar. They just see and think: “UwU Black Person LEaning A Bit Left? They All Same. TANKIE DICTATOR SKREEECH!”

Why would you be called a tankie?

Because I’m quoting Engels, one of the grandfathers of the Communist movement.

It’s a term used by basically all kinds of communists and socialists, from anarchists to eurocommunists (not tankies) to Maoists (tankies).

It always gets me when people attach Mao to the phrase “Tankie”, when - at best - you’re trying to describe Deng and getting your historical wires crossed. Of all the historical communist leaders, Mao was the least reliant on mobile armored artillery. Euro-Communists, on the other hand… Real, Actual, Literal Tankies.

People are so clueless as to the history of the term that they’ll slap it on anyone. That’s why I think some shitposter on a 3rd-tier social media site will get labeled as a 50s-era military officer. The term is pure invective. If it ever meant anything when it was coined, it’s descended into pure reactionary gibberish in the modern day.

I keep telling myself she was ill. She likely did not have much time left, but UHC made my mother’s life hell for her last few weeks. They denied or delayed care she needed while in the hospital. She complained about stomach pain, but tests and treatment were denied as unrelated to her care in the hospital. She died from an intestinal tear. She died in the hospital from something she directly told the staff about, that insurance would not let them even test for. As I said before, she might not have had much more time left, but United AI denied her care to the point that they no longer needed to cover her at all. Brian Thompson murdered my mother.

Luigi didn’t kill him, Luigi was playing videogames with me.

Unfortunately the claim denials have only increased, meaning Luigi just added 1 to the pile with no tangible results.

The problem with Luigi is thatt there is currently only 1 ‘Luigi’ .

I need someone here to prove to me that all those ‘Luigis’ in Russia in 1918 did not make the material conditions of the Slavic People significantly better afterwards . Same with the Cuban ‘Luigis’ in 1959 … Go ahead. Try and do it …

(You wont be successful but good luck with that though 🍿🤭)

The problem with Luigi is that he executed some useless tool instead of taking political action such as organizing a resistance with an actual impact at the polls, or at the very least killing a red tie.

if they come from money and theyre based I have serious question for you FurryMemesAccount:

What have they done with that money thatt has thoroughly convinced you that theyre based? Im genuinely asking… (and it had better be a good answer or else)

            • None of them have access to it. It’s locked behind inheritance, etc.

They have easier access to education, culture, more free time, that sort of thing as privilèges of riches, not the actual bank accounts.

        …uhhh I think youre wrong https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4ED6opUDeg8&pp=ygUVYmFkZW1wYW5hZGEgdGVycm9yaXN00gcJCRMMAYcqIYzv

Collective punishment is actually NOT terrorist shit. The first people classified as ‘terrorosts’ tended to ONLY target specific targets because they wanted to spur on massive political changes by their harm or by the harm others received. Even in thhe past most ‘terrorism’ was done by poor, practically invisible people who couldnt gett into the political system to make change so hhad no choice but to resort to violence. The Haitians and the Polish soldiers that freed themselves would DEFINITELY had been classified as terrorists had the Haitian Revolution happened today or even in the 1900s wjen the word ‘terrorism’ was first created. The African Slaves, Germanics(the battle of Teutonberg Forest ring any bells?), Arabs , aand Huns who rose up against their Roman and european subjugators would ALSO be calledd terrorists today , no?

Apolitical mass murderes rarely ever pick specific targets and theyre actually a phenomena that occurs more nowadays than they did in the past based on only the records we have kept (they may have been more common in the past we just dont know cause we didnt keep the best record of apolitical mass murderers. Mass murder wss more common in the past. , we all know that , but mass murderr in the past was almost always politically or materially motivated - it tended to be because a group or person wanted change for more independence or wanted easier access to resources that greedy fatfucks were stealing from them.)

but being a terrorist isnt the the best thing but it also isnt thr worst thing in the world as it has been painted to be by bourgeoisie mmedia. The IRA were terrorists… they have mostly completed their main goals. The Taliban were terrorists… they have mostly completed their main goals. Heck, the NVA and VietMinh were classified as terrorists… We saw how THAT situatiin ended , huh?
