Honestly, as much as I can understand people being against lazy AI slop in an effort to skirt working with real artists, it’s all about intent/usage. Someone in /c/EDC posted their daily carry as a nice arranged photo, then had it stylized as a wonderful simple drawing with machine learning and people were so rude in the comments. He wasn’t going to pay for such a small thing, and he likely didn’t have the skill for it himself but it was still a pleasant addition to the post. Brutality in the comments, majority of people not interacting with the post but complaining about ML. Really disheartening.
