Initially came over during the API protests. But my Reddit is Shit angry blab right now is that I can’t fucking read comments anymore when just randomly searching things on my phone because there’s a pop-up that you can’t close that makes it impossible to read more.
I’ve tried clearing my cache and it seems to come back faster and faster every time. I also flip over to the desktop site instead of mobile to keep reading - but that’s a pain in the arse.
So yeah. Greedy bastards are just smashing the ‘get our app’ banner in your face and blocking everything else. Fuck em
I use uBlock origin to remove that pop-up, 4 taps and it’s gone. Just make sure to tap the upper part of the page when selecting what to block, otherwise you won’t be able to scroll down.
