Current and former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) staffers are growing increasingly concerned that the work they did slashing government programs and eliminating jobs will come back to haunt them with the possibility of criminal prosecutions.Worse still is their growing belief that the b...

You fear prosecution most when you’ve done something illegal.

Seriously, people hear “you can be a piece of shit for a little.” And jump on the opportunity, and then wonder why people don’t like them.

Consequences would only be consequent. I hope the same applies to the ICE GeStaPo one day. Maybe that’s why they act so cowardly and hide their faces.

Based on recent and not so recent US history, they won’t face any consequences. Trump was eventually charged over Jan 6th but not for outright treason, only conspiracy charges. And that was only after Garland slow-walked each investigation until it was too late.

The civil war traitors were never brought to trial, and politicians allowed the South to continue treating freed slaves as sub-human for more than a century.

Nothing will fundamentally change until the rich and powerful are in fear of their lives.

They’ll be lucky if they’re thrown in camps and aren’t just purged.

Oh, I don’t give a shit about prosecution — I think anyone that’s supported the fascist takeover of the U.S. should just be killed.

Don’t just kill them. Round them up for that new game Russians are playing, where they run around an open field while an explosive-charged drone tries to catch them. Televised, of course.

How sad for them. I’m sure the kids who are now not getting their aids treatment because DOGE employees cancelled USAID didn’t feel abandoned.

It would be nice if they were prosecuted, as one of their DOGE members leaked the Social Security numbers in plaintext for every malicious actor to take advantage of. All because they were a stupid, brash fool that thought they could do something and not get caught. 🙄🤬

It’s fine, Musk can find a new batch of kinda smart but not really college dropouts with delusions of impressing a narcissistic rich guy and a history of starting arguments with “well, actually, white men are the most oppressed social group”. They seem to be cloning them at industrial scale these days.

Cloning them? Apparently all it takes is feeding 14 yo white boys a steady drip of regular pop culture augmented with timed bursts of manosphere podcasts (formerly YouTube rabbit holes).
